BIOGRAPHY

Combining his masters degree in architecture at St-Lucas, a Vlerick MBA in general management, an MBM Master in Building Management at Vlaamse IngenieursKring, a master “design thinking at IDEO, and a personal and business coaching degree, combined with his 25 years of experience and an overall creative mind, he now assists companies as an independent creative consultant.

With his unique approach – connecting his startup, SME and multinational business experience – he uplifts his “design thinking” to a commercial level, but keeps an open, creative vision, to challenge and coach a company, a brand, an idea or a product,… the analytic vs design approach, as an architect would use, but understanding the brands’ as well as the customers values.

Matching business and creativity with your brand visualisation as a goal. Marchitect is available for a creative in need for some business input, or for a company in need of a business experienced design thinker to guide its creatives.

Vincent Boydens started his career path aged 17 when he gave six 10-lesson-courses in “basic computer skills”, each time to 20 adults needing their digital intro in the year 1993, thus learning how to transfer a message to customers. During his studies he worked in the field of architecture and for various companies in architectural competition design and 3D visualisations, further he developed websites, brochures and trophees for several companies, learning how to translate ideas and concepts into forms and (re-)presentations.

After graduating, he was responsible for building the Vlerick Campuses, both in Ghent and Leuven, as an architectural project manager. Later, he managed the retail design and several brand launches for a total of 20 brands for L’Oréal Luxe Benelux. At the L’Oréal’ Paris headquarters he designed the new global architectural look for Helena Rubinstein as an expat international brand & retail designer.

Now he’s available freelance to make your brand grow, building the bridge between Marketing and Architecture.
